We are very pleased to be nearly done with phase 1 and 2 of a multiyear project we began in June of 2015. We are all very pleased with the outcome of this very evasive and complex project that has really transformed the main entrance of the Red Blazer.
A BIG thank you to all our patrons for putting up with the constant inconvenience and all that goes along with construction related activity. During the process we had to reroute traffic a number of times as well as disrupt the normal flow of traffic inside and outside the building. We appreciate the cooperation along with the positive feedback along the way that really helped us get to the finish line.
Today it’s easy for anyone who has been to our restaurant to see the quality improvements made as soon as you get to the front door. The changes include a new easy to access front door that properly addresses all the needs of all our patrons replacing the dated and tired infrastructure that served for some 45 years. The first thing you see is a roomier entry way that leads you to our new hostess station but not before the powerful visual of all the amazing desserts that the Red Blazer is known for.
Once in the main area of the restaurant you will see our new Butcher shop which we hope will be in service by mid April 2017 to serve our customers BBQ and center of plate needs for those looking for top quality meat, chicken and seafood products. We will offer up a host of side dishes and other retail items to help round out any home cooked meal.
A few final details still in the works include sound treatments to compensate for the tile floor which made the space noisier after the removal of carpet. We anticipate the new furniture slated for the main dining room will be fully installed by 1st quarter of 2018 as it will be done in phases. For those interested the look and feel of the new furniture will be the same as the new furniture set in the Blazer room; the space before the pub or behind the hostess station.
